The Carlisle Associates team was hired to perform a full-service project for Inbra Indústrias Químicas Ltda.’s first United States production facility in the Orangeburg County Oaks Rail Site on U.S. 21 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. The facility produces plasticizers for the polyvinyl chloride market. The project consists of a 22,000-square-foot office and warehouse building and a 4,500-square-foot three-story production tower.

A one half-mile rail spur was designed for the delivery of raw materials from the Norfolk-Southern main line serving the site. Carlisle Associates was also involved in the site selection for this project, evaluating several sites across South Carolina during the early stages of the project.
