This new fresh produce processing facility enabled a long-time Columbia, SC company to modernize and expand its operations into a 166,000-square-foot facility including, a two-story 24,000-square-foot office, 92,000 square feet of new processing area, 50,000 square feet of QA lab, storage, support area and 25 clean docks. The production areas were designed to have employees move through locker/gowning areas into production areas to maintain a clean and healthy work environment.

An extensive waste management system was also designed to facilitate clean-up and minimize water usage. The system separates solid refuse from recirculating water and deposits the waste into trucks for transport to secondary markets.
